...SPECIALIZING IN OUR OWN IMAGINATIONS...

MorzArt is pleased to introduce, "Saved From the Brink", a new
collection of thought provoking free-standing wood sculpture. Done in the
winter of '09 and created in a contemporary surrealistic style, all materials
were gathered from Texas grown wood species of Oak, Cedar, Mesquite,
Pine and Cottonwood. Reclaimed from Mother Nature, these works were
created from wood salvaged from varying degrees of decomposition and
decay.
With a flow of creativity and limited forethought, the artist freely sculpted
each piece keeping with an understanding that the material would reveal
the treasures that laid waiting inside. A focus on composition and textures
led the artist to produce a body of work that allows the viewer to uncover a
multitude of images within each piece.
Left to the eye of the beholder, MorzArt wishes to invoke a visual realm of
possibilities yet to be discovered, and with this collection of object non-
specific works, it is the artist’s hope that viewers will take the opportunity
to stop and allow their imaginations to wonder...for you never know what
you will see along the way.
